Founding Head of UWC Dilijan, Armenia.
John was appointed as the Founding Head in mid-2013 and supervised the school's adoption as a United World College and the IBDP accreditation process before moving to Armenia in January 2014.
The College opened in August 2014 offering the IB Diploma programme to 97 students from 60 countries. Another 110 students joined in 2015, bringing the total to students from 85 countries.
As a 100% residential school arranged in four houses, the school became home to students from as far away as Brazil, China, Australia and Canada.
